Welcome To Our Garden
This site was opened on 18th Nov 2003 with the aim of following
over the coming months and years the development of our garden from one
that is 95% lawn and patio to (hopefully) something a little more inviting.
The garden is situated in a small town in Kent, England
and we moved here in October 2003 after living all our lives in London.
The garden is of average size for a town garden and an unusual (difficult)
shape with a small area of woodland at the bottom. We feel we have the best
of both worlds with a shopping centre and all living in town offers on one
side and open countryside on the other.
The general aim is to create a garden that is wildlife friendly and that is enjoyable to friends and family.
The first addition will be a pond, on which a start has already been made.
I would like to develop this site showing a diary of events, some images,
enable feedback for visitors to leave advice both for myself and if justified
to add to the site to benefit others.
A log of birds and other wildlife seen in the garden will be kept and hopefully
this will grow as more wildlife is attracted to the garden.
